FAQs
-
I work with active people who want to build strength, move with confidence, and keep doing what they love without being held back by pain, setbacks, or physical limitations.
-
Not at all.
Some people come in with very little training experience, while others have a higher training age and more independence in the gym. We start by looking at your goals, history, and current needs, then choose the coaching option that makes the most sense for you.
-
What’s included depends on the coaching option you choose, but coaching may include:
movement assessment
personalized programming
hands-on coaching and feedback
exercise modifications and progressions
education around training, recovery, and movement
progress tracking
regular communication and support
The goal is not just to give you a workout. It’s to give you the guidance, structure, and understanding you need to keep moving forward.
-
Yes.
Remote coaching includes personalized programming, regular check-ins, progress tracking, and ongoing guidance so you can train independently from anywhere.
It’s best suited for people with a higher training age, a solid base of movement competency, and enough confidence to follow a structured plan without regular in-person sessions.
-
That’s a common reason people reach out.
I work with people dealing with pain, previous injuries, movement limitations, or recurring setbacks. Coaching is adapted to your body, current capacity, and goals so you can keep progressing safely and confidently.
If you’re currently working with a healthcare provider, I can also coach in a way that complements the work they’re already doing.
-
The first step is to book a Discovery Call.
This is a free, no-pressure conversation where we talk about your goals, training history, current challenges, and what kind of support you need. It’s also where we decide whether ProMotion is the right fit for you.
If it makes sense to move forward, the next step is a consultation, where we take a deeper look at how you move, where you’re at, and what the best path forward looks like.
-
My main focus is 1-on-1 coaching, because it allows for the highest level of personalization, feedback, and support.
Depending on the situation, I may also offer small-group or semi-private coaching, but 1-on-1 is the best fit for most people who want a more individualized approach.
-
I offer in-person coaching in Orangeville and Mississauga.
Mississauga sessions are available at The Core Optimum Health and Performance Centre: 400 Matheson Blvd E #24, Mississauga, ON L4Z 1N8
Depending on the coaching option you choose, you may also complete part or all of your training remotely.
-
Please bring:
comfortable training clothes
a water bottle
any relevant injury or health information
anything else you’d like me to know about your goals or training history
Most importantly, come ready to learn and take the first step forward.
-
I understand that life happens and sometimes plans change.
To respect both your time and mine, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, and no-shows may be charged in full.
If an emergency comes up, please reach out as soon as possible.
-
Coaching is personalized, and the best option depends on your goals, training history, current needs, and how much support you need right now.
Starting with a Discovery Call allows us to figure out the best fit first, and then discuss the most appropriate coaching option from there.
